I was never a big fan of carp I like to fish to eat. But when I catch and release I love to fish for carp. what you need is some mcdonalds french fries they love the salt and the fatty grease. just put the french fry on the hook cast out bring it in slowly alowing it to sit on the bottom for ten seconds at a time and eventually you’ll get some big ones deffinetely I use 10 pound test or higher line for carp i lost to many hooks on my usual crappie bass and bluegill rig.
