Beautiful Nitro bass boat

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

This video is more like a an infomercial,  but take a look and see why every bass angler has to have one. This boat claims to be good for beginners, but heck I’d leave it in my driveway and never take it out. Or maybe just drive around town with it all day. Beautiful bass boat.

“LIVE LINE” Striped Bass?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009
I can’t figure it out. I am going to do a little fishing this  weekend with friends.  I’ve Googled a bit of research and found that the Chesapeake Bay, the big thing for Striped Bass is live lining? My question is, how to do this and what is the best bait? Sorry for the picture, but I did not have one relevant.

Beginner Pier fishing question

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009
I saw the other post about pier fishing and though i’d also hop in. I want to fish ( San Diego) near Imperial Beach, and have not caught anything on that pier yet. I’ve tried muscles, squid and lures with ZERO luck. I know it’s close to the fall season, but I am frustrated and don’t know what to use. I’m just a beginner. Any support would be grateful

KC

Fall pier fishing in Southern California

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009
This past  summer me and my two boys  really got into pier fishing and found something we call all do together and like. I live in southern California and mostly go to the Oceanside pier. Does anyone have tips for pier fishing for fall months? Were not doing as great as we were in the summer, but we can still see a lot of fish in the water and being caught. We are just not having any luck. What conditions should we look out for? Bait, ETC. Any tips are great!! Thanks.

Good fishing spots on Ohio river?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009
oh
Hey all, I live in Ohio and want to take my father fishing on the Ohio river for his 78th birthday. I would like to know where any good camping spots are and any advise. I know it’s late in the season, but he’d sure be surprised and happy to go. Is it too late for some fall fishing?

Traditional River salmon Fishing

Monday, September 28th, 2009

Here is a different (native) way of fishing. The First Nations of area that includes Lillooet have fished for salmon in the Fraser River for 1000’s of years. This video shows how two young people are learning to fish traditionally. Interesting video and why I wanted to post it.
