I am on Christmas break and all I am getting is snow, when there is snow outside and cold is it a good time to fish for rainbow trout??? If so what should I use as bait (not lures)?
Thanks and Happy New Years!

A good place to dive and fish in florida? I am in central Florida in a little town near the villages with a 36 foot boat. I don’t mind traveling but wouldnt want to drive more than two and a half hours. I was thinking about Welaka Springs in putnam county. If anyone knows any places or wants to point me in a direction where boats are allowed please help me out. Thanks in advanced.

So I got an ice fishing rod and reel combo for Christmas with a few jigs and grub type baits from berkley. I put on 3lbs test/line and if i get a pretty good sized bass or catfish it wouldn’t the line break? So my question is when jigging through the ice do i need some type of monofilament leader attached to a barrel swivel? or do i just tie it on directly to the 3 pound test? thanks.

I got my father a new fishing rod for Christmas because his old one doesn’t work well. We go fishing in Ontario, Canada near the U.S. border. We go on a lake and catch mostly large mouth bass and occasionally a pike or a small mouth bass. We usually use live minnows for bait and occasionally spinners or spoons. Any other suggestion?

The best trout fishing lure ever! So if you could only have one trout lure/bait what would it be and why? I will give my answer if the post moves along..

Santa told just told me I will get a rod specifically for Salmon, but no more then 250-300 dollars. Also, which baitcast reel is most effective, I used a spinning reel, but it wasn’t any good for Salmons, it only took my line out farther. Any advice?
Happy Holidays
