Is fly fishing really that hard? My brother and I would like to try it next time we go to Utah. We’d get an experienced guide, of course, but, would we spend the entire day learning as opposed to catching fish? Are the fundamentals easy to learn, or really that hard?

.
It’s my bosses birthday and apparently he’s really really into fly fishing and making his own stuff for it – Can anyone suggest a present that I could get him. I have my own places and buy my gear local and some places online, but I want to shock him with a great thoughtful original idea? Something to impress him because I have a raise review coming up.

I am thinging about using jigs this year because I never used jigs for bass fishing in the past. So I’m wondering how often do you use jigs. What colors do you use when? is it important to use trailers? do you use jigs in open water or in a lot of cover?
Any tips would be helpful.
Thanks,
Jim

I am your typical 30 year old guy and successful. I’ve been pretty much overweight all my life long and never formally dated, or had a relationship. However, I’ve lost a lot of weight. I was 350 and now 190 and will go down to 175. Women seem a lot more interested. Need help figuring this out and what dating really looks like. Don’t know much about anything and need advice on dating. I Don’t want to go out there and look completely stupid or rattle off about fishing all date long.
Little help please,
Bobby

During the fight the rod snaps and the angler had to handline the bass to the boat. Cool video I must say.

The White House has agreed to Gov. Jim Doyle’s request to hold an emergency Asian carp summit with Great Lakes governors while a Michigan congressman has vowed to take the fight to block carp from invading Lake Michigan to the Capitol.
U.S. Rep. Dave Camp introduced a bill Wednesday that seeks to shut navigation locks in the Chicago area, a drastic step the U.S. Supreme Court opted not to order in a ruling issued Tuesday.
