Hello, does anyone on this blog go trout fishing in Missouri? If so, I have a bad case of cabin fever and I just wanna go out there and catch some fish. I don’t have too much experience with trout because not many are around locally, so I was thinking somewhere like Bennett Springs State Park? I know it’s awesome when it’s warm, but is it any different in the Winter early Spring. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be grateful.

On Sunday I plan on making a dish with cooked shrimp and since I don’t usually work with shrimp, I was wondering if under-cooked shrimp is known for causing regular food poisoning problems, etc. if done wrong. The dish seems pretty straight forward to me, but just wondering.

Okay, now I’ve scouted long and hard and found out where the trout are, but the question is, what is the best bait for that? Also, this stream holds only small trout so wouldn’t the fly line spinner bait be a bit too big for them?

I truly like to tie and wanted to and possibly sell some online or to various fly shops. Will I be able to do this without a business license even if the sells are small and under let’s say $5k a year? It’s not so much about making money, but to be able to tie flies.

I’ve been fishing for years and been angling a spinner for years, and it’s no time for fly fishing. I live in the Pacific Northwest and was looking for a rod and reel combo to catch bass, trout, and occasionally pinks and steelies. I have my eye on a Redington RS4 outfit, but was unsure what size tippet to get (1x or 5x) and what size reel to get with the combo. I am new to fly-fishing and was wondering how I should go about purchasing my combo and what works best. Any answers help. thanks.

We dated ten years ago and just recently met each other through a friend. She is divorced and really seemed interested in grabbing lunch. That lead into dinner two weeks later. Hi Cupidfish members I am starting to take up freshwater fishing and for the past few years I’ve been a boat angler. I need to get some gear but I need a little direction on where to get the best prices. If anyone has any gear they do not wont I will buy it if the price is right. Also, can I have some tips on the best way to catch fish at Charlton lakes and anton lakes in and over as I live near there and will fishing there.
