Bass boats pros and cons

I also want to ask a question about wanting  to buy a bass boat. There are a lot of pros on some of the choices I am am looking at, but the cons are would a bay boat be better suited for my needs?. I’ll be fishing in salt/brackish water during the summer, but the rest of the year I’ll be will be bass fishing in lakes, etc. What should I do or better yet, anyone here on CupidFish have a solution on or advice?

  1. Master Basser says:

The Bass boats have a much bigger, longer, and better casting platform and why I’d get one over the other mentioned.

I think that a bass boats would have no significant advantage over a bay boat and think either would be a great choice and actually I personally prefer the bay boat as the driving position is better, but that’s about it.

  3. Snagged says:

The bay Bay boats are specifically built to handle a little bit bigger water with a deeper hull and are set up to handle salt water. If you get a bass boat and fish salt or brackish water just be sure to hose the boat and motor down when you get home because the salt can start to corrode the parts of the boat that are not protected.
