Heading out to the coast for a few days and fancied a bit of fishing. I’m a coarse angler by trade and wondered if my gear would be up to a salty dip. I’ve read that mullet can be tamed on a waggler, but fancied trying out my power feeder. Would this be up to any thing?

Yes, of course you can use it, but it will need to be cleaned in freshwater after.I left my beachcaster at home once and took a spinning rod i caught a mullet on a size 1 blue fox vibrax.You can catch them with lugworm but only works for me when i keep the bait moving.Fly fishing also works and it’s fun on a light rod.
