Hello cupid Fish! This is my first post to the blog. I’ll be heading out on Sunday night to do lake fishing at night in Ga., I’ll be going for bass more then anything. I was wondering if I should buy some glow-sticks. I am also bringing watermelon trick worms and was wondering if i should use something different for night? I figured that darker worms for night and light for day, but any other tips you want to cast my way?.. feel free to throw some ideas at me for bait/tactics. Thanks in Advance-JD in Ga.Tags: Fish Lake, Lake Fishing, Night Fishing, Watermelon, Worms

Vibration and noise. Use topwater baits such as a buzzbait and a popper. Spinnerbaits and jerbaits will also work well. Plus 10″ plastic worms work very well on nighttime bass. Culprit and Berkley Powerbait both have 10″ models, and my favorite color would be black. I’d use a 4/0 wide gap hook with a 1/4oz weight. Fish it SLOW. As far as worms, a weightless Senkos with rattles will work well. Always use dark colors at night.
Good luck have fun..
At night, Bass use their lateral line more than any other sense to find and catch prey and the most productive lure for Bass at night is a Spinnerbait called The Mid-night Special and it is VERY productive from twilight through dark-. Remember always use dark colors at night, Black, Black/Blue, Dark Red, Dark Purple, Etc.
And it also helps to use a good fish attractant……..
Good luck!
