So I met a up with a lady for coffee and we talked an hour and things went great. She was honest and looked good and knows a lot about fishing boats. I mean a lot and was impressed with her knowledge. So I asked her out again and we are going to do some crappie jiggin this weekend. She said yes, but she wants to take it real slow. I agreed with her but come-on guys/gals this is dating, I have some questions.
Guys: Would you continue to keep your profile online and keep meeting ladies?
Ladies: Would you do the same thing and keep meeting guys?
Thanks

Hello CupidFish. I am single mom and I would like to take my two early teen daughters camping. I want them to “unplug” from the world for a weekend here in Arkansas and enjoy the outdoors and possible teach them to crappie fish like my father did. It’s a still a bit warm but here is my question/problem. I am not as familiar with the camping as I use to be, and I need as much advice as you can give. Where, when the best time of year to go, what sort of things I would need to bring. I know of course the basics of a tent and sleeping bags and stuff but I don’t know what else we would really need. I know it’s the middle of summer since it is hot here but I would also like to go fishing and don’t know if we can catch anything. I know it sounds stupid, but I am really just trying to make some memorable moments for my girls.
In short, I just need some basics.Thanks- Eileen

I met someone nice and being an avid angler. He also loves to fish and I do and do you think it would be odd to ask him to go fishing on a first date? The weather is perfect for fishing and I think it would be a great first date. What do you all think?

Thought I’d check in and update a few on my second date idea. So as you know I met a guy here on CupidFish and he took me out for a nice lunch and then a great walk. He works a lot and likes bass fishing as much as I do and so now it’s my choice for the second date. So my plan is to go fishing and make a fire and fish and watch the stars but its so damn hot! Anyway, he does work a lot and mentioned a few times he has not got out all that much to do some fishing and his free time he is spending with me;-) Anyway, my question is do you think it is too soon for a camp/fishing trip?
Thanks Eileen

Hey cupidfish I thought I’d join this dating site and give it a go. I just dumped my 45yr old boy friend of 2.5 years. A majority of the time we got along great – as long as we are doing what HE wants to do. We’d go fishing, boating, and one time even went with him duck hunting etc. These are the only outdoor activities he enjoys. I enjoy them because it’s something we are doing together. However if I suggest we try something new or an activity I like to do such as going to an outdoor festival, go bowling, see a free concert in the park, take a day trip to the beach or mountains, he is totally resistant. He’ll roll his eyes and respond,”I’ll have to get back with you.” That was his answer to most of the activities I would like to do with him. Then he will delay so long in giving me a definitive answer about my suggestion that is it either too late to go or I’m just not longer interested. The last few times he had me wait for an answer I took a girlfriend instead. I thought this would make him feel left out or guilty for stringing me along, but he still didn’t care! He went fishing or hung out with his buddies. He doesn’t see why I’m making a big deal about it. But it infuriates me!
So now after I dumped him he wants to get back together and make amends. I am finished and truly am an (all things) outdoors type of gal, but sadly, most men over 40 turn to all talk and no action and just want to do the things they want or sit and watch sports and feed their pie hole. I am in my mid forties and understand why women my age or older turn to cougars because you older me lose your stamina. VENT off-
Jackie

Hello all I thought I’d join and talk about the possible failing of my relationshit. I’m a female in my mid 20’s and a avid outdoors girl that loves it all from catfishing late at (trot-lines) night to bow hunting. Anyway, my boyfriend and I don’t live together, but we see each other almost daily. So now (after 6 months) he just wants to hangout at his or my house and only been to a movie and dinner like twice. He says he is an outdoor person but I’ve never seen him want to go fishing/hunting or anything outdoors. however I am willing to go out and do somethings he like. However every time I bring up hanging out somewhere other than at home, he doesn’t seem interested. He doesn’t like me hanging out with my friends while he’s home alone because they like to do things, so that’s out for me. We never go out together because he doesnt like to spend money at all, not even on himself. He wasn’t always like this, but whenever we started dating he says that he is not interested in all that childish stuff anymore. He doesn’t like to go out much at all and whenever I ask him to do more stuff with me he will just say okay we will. But it never happens. I am bored in my relationship and this guy is turning into an old man at 27.

Hey all I hope you are having a great Sunday. Now, let me get to my question that I see has been asked more then a few times here. I started dating a women I met (on another site) and we had a great first date over desserts and coffee. Now I am planning my second date and want to do something else other then a movie or dinner? The next date is set for the (next) weekend and it’s too early yet, for cooking her something her at the house. Movies and dinners are so common that I just think they’re downright boring. I was thinking maybe comedy club, but if it bombs it will be awkward. I really want to take her out on my bass-boat but was thinking this might be a bit to early or she might get board with me focusing more on the bass then her
. Seriously, any suggestions would be great.
Please suggest something unique and a safe bet if you could … Robert in WV.

Hey all thought I would get a bit off fishing because there is so much “how to” do this and not so much information or blog posting about getting shape for summer. So whats a good diet for the summer? Well, obvousily fish and stuff but has worked for you in the past? I am not much into exercise because I am already so active.

Well I met a great women at an outdoor business (boat show) convention. I am in my mid-20’s and she is older in her 30’s. I feel like we connect very good though after a couple of dates. She is a beautiful woman who has a great taste for style, loves the outdoors, cooks amazing (she actually made elk steaks her father gave her) knows fishing gear, likes to hike, and does not have any kids. See this is the part that confuses me because most women who don’t have kids and never been married in their mid-30’s are usually a red flag. Any advice for keeping the relationship going smoothly and on dating a woman that is 10 years older than me?
