It’s Friday and I have a few more hours to kill then I am off fishing on the river. So let’s play “three lures that never fail”…My choices:
1. Yellow or white mini-king spinner-bait
2. Three inch rapala
3. Four inch plastic Renegade worms
One of those lures mention has worked so well, the success rate is 95% of times I was on the water. I fish some of the best spots I can and not the ones where there are 30 idiots on a boat fishing the smallest lake in the state.

Is there a reasonably priced saltwater fishing boat? Hello cupidfish boat owners I am trying to find a good saltwater fishing boat like a Boston Whaler, but possibly cheaper? I am looking for something with a center console boat that is a good fishing boat to fit at least 4-6 people and is 19-27 feet long and is in the price range of $10,000-$15,000 dollars. I am dreaming or do you think it’s possible to fins something reasonably new and in good shape? I just can’t afford a Boston Whaler and know that there are the best boat for this but as mentioned, they are way out of my price range.

Tired of cheap sunglasses and eye strain when fishing on my boat. So I am shopping around for a really good pair of sunglasses for fishing but more so, for my fishing boat and just riding around. My budget is $200 and heard that Costa Del Mars are pretty good? Any Anglers here suggest any brands that are similar to Costa Del Mars or that might be better?
Thanks,
John in Florida

So me and some friends are heading down to the Keys Florida in June. We will be on a student budget and don’t have a lot of money to spend, but we do intend to enjoy ourselves to the fullest. We are all very big on fishing and I was wondering do you have to get a charter boat to go fishing? Because, I looked into it and they are too expensive, This may sound so dumb, but can they just bring their own rods and just fish on the beach. Does anyone know of a cheap place where they can rent a boat of their own maybe, or maybe a cheap charter boat? I know that may sound silly, but if there is tell me? also tell me of any great places to go or things to do. We already booked our snorkeling trip, but is there anything else? Also do they need a license to fish on the beach?
Thanks Elle

Hello all I am new here and had a question or recommendation for my first boat. I like to bass fish, but I’d also like to have a boat that can be used for wakeboarding/skiing. As mentioned, I don’t know much about boats, but would like to get into it if I were to get a boat for fishing. What’s a good type/model to look into??

Hey all thought I’d check in and contribute a bit. I am Bobby from Louisiana and am really into fishing and see I’m not alone.

. So here goes, I want to get a cheap boat that can fish for trout and redfish. Should I get a bass boat or a flat boat. It has to be inexpensive ($4000 or less) so it will have to be used. Which should I get?
Thanks Bob-LA

A long time friend has convinced me to come down to Mulege Baja MX, and work with him on his sport-fishing and commercial fishing boat. I speak Spanish as good as English and thinking a lot about it. Anyone live or work in Mexico or the fishing community down there?
Regards,
Robert

I am fishing the Kenai river this summer (end of June), just wondering what reel would be best suited to do this. I plan on wading in the river, no boat fishing (maybe a little bank fishing on some deep spots). I am getting an ugly stick 8.5′ rod, but for a reel I am still up in the air. I have a Shimano Torium 20, would that work for this type of fishing? Also, how does this reel cast? Any and all help sure would be appreciated .
