How to find rare fishing lures

rare fishing lures
Afternoon all. I thought I’d post here because I have read some great answers by some good folks to very difficult questions.  I am always on the lookout for rare fishing lures and have built up a good collection over the years trading with friends and family. Currently, I am looking for a lure, it is made by lucky craft, it is small, they come it different sizes/colors, the larger ones are about an inch long, and small one is 3/4 inch. They are a gundrop shape, the package says they are sammy specials, they are used for drift fishing for steelhead. I am almost certain they’re made out of balsa wood.
Can anyone help me find some….Jesse in Oregon

Using jigs when bass fishing?

Monday, January 25th, 2010

I am thinging about using jigs this year because I  never used jigs for bass fishing in the past. So I’m wondering how often do you use jigs. What colors do you use when? is it important to use trailers? do you use jigs in open water or in a lot of cover?

Any tips would be helpful.
Thanks,
Jim

The type of fishing I do is surfcasting, pier fishing for Stripers and Bluefish using a bottom-feeding rig on the NorthEast  shore. I want to start using some lures but there are so many colors to choose from anyone know where I can find some good info specifically about the  coloring of lures? Again SurfCasting and pier fishing.
