It’s cold and thought I’d post a typical day in Florida fishing on the Walton fishing Pier. Great video besides the fact, there are NO rainbow trout in the ocean (lol) the weather looks great …damn!

Hello from Japan. I will fish bass in some lakes with fishing guides and want to present some Japanese lures for them. I will go bass fishing to in Texas next April and I think it’s a good idea. But I have no ideas what to present. So I want to ask you what kind of Japanese lures are noticed in America? What pleases them ?
Thank You Akira

I fish in Florida lakes alot but only catch hand sized fish. So I want to take up a notch and go pier fishing at jax pier in Florida. Any Florida pier anglers want to give recommendations on how to prepare my rods. They now have 10 pound test line. I need to know if I should change that. Also, the size hooks needed or what you’d recommend and everything else needed. Weights. Leaders? I will be using shrimp. THANKS!

I’m in the Panhandle of Florida (just moved from Seattle) and want to some local river fishing. There is a nice big river which leads in to the ocean, but from where I want to fish it is at least 15 miles away from the ocean. I was wondering what kind of fish are probably in this rivers around here? I’ve noticed there are a lot of stubs and fallen trees and boat docks in this river and I was wondering what I should use in these areas? Looking forward to your Replies..

I am seriously thinking about getting a 10.2 boat (saw this in the paper today) with a small outboard or trolling motor with 2 swivel seats and an aerated livewell. What do you think about my idea and would it be a good rig for catch some bass tarpon in the canals? Also, it would be my first boat and want to start close to shore as I gain knowledge for possibly buying a larger boat later for deep sea or ocean fishing. Whatcha you’ll think?

Hello: I see lot’s of good question here and better answers so let me ask one. I am from Washington State and I am taking a trip to florida and was wondering what the best baits are to catch any type of fish in Florida from the shore/surf? I’ll be going to Punta Gorda. Also, if know some specific baits for specific fish please let me know. Also, I know in Florida it used to be that if you have to pay to fish, such as fishing a pier, that you don’t need a fishing license. Is that still the case? . It sure would save me a lot of time a because I only have 3 days.
Thanks..
