So I meet this guy, and we talked for a month before I agreed to a first date. He sure did seem like a catch and  a nice guy- with a professional  job and a degree. We both had many  similar values and interests. He lives a couple of hours away, so our first date was meeting in an outdoor place, halfway between our homes. I felt that we really clicked, and he seemed to think so as well. I mentioned that I was going to Memphis for with some friends, and he asked if he could meet me there, with some of his friends. He even stayed in the same hotel as my friends and I did. We had a great time–all of our friends me up and had fun, and there was no pressure for anything. His friends kept saying things like ‘oh, I’ve heard so much about you”, etc. The following weekend we met in another location between our houses and went to a baseball game. We held hands the entire time, and he catered completely to me. We stayed at a friend’s house, and he was a complete gentleman to both her and I. We didn’t sleep together or anything. He went on vacation back to his hometown and went back east on vacation. He called me two time during the trip to see how I was doing and wanted to meet up when he returned. He was supposed to come back last Thursday, but I haven’t heard from him yet. I called him tonight and his phone was off, so I left a message.

I really like this guy so my question is, how long should I wait for his call? Unfortunately he’s the only person in my dating queue currently. Being a women, of course I’m completely overanalyzing this, but I really liked him. The only things I could think of is that he met someone else, got back together with an old girlfriend or is dead in a ditch. Wouldn’t he have the courtesy to let me know not to keep hanging on, if he was with someone else?
