The easiest method for salmon and trout and possibly walleye? I am going the Northern most part of Michigan and I’m packing in fishing tackle and we are kind of depending on fish for our 8 day hike. I am an experienced angler and I just want some pointers on inland lake fish. There will be bass, perch, walleye, salmon, trout, catfish and awful carp. What would be the easiest method to fish for walleye and salmon/trout? I want, and I am not sure the best way to go about it. Any info would be freaking sweet. thanks Dave

I like salmon a lot and here in Alaska, we can almost eat salmon everyday. Is eating too much Salmon bad for you? I’ve read there is mercury is in fish, but I thought was mainly ocean fish? In short, I could easily eat salmon every day and don’t get me started on the roe. Thanks- Jon AK
Is fishing Salmon hatcheries true?
Wednesday, April 7th, 2010This can’t be true or I don’t believe it, but I heard there are hatcheries in Washington that will let you fish their hatchery for a set price or price per pound? I live in WA, and was thinking of trying or testing my fishing skills at a hatchery, and maybe get something to eat while I’m at it? Are there any hatcheries around the Puget Sound area that I could visit to fish from? Yes, this is a serious post if you must flame away.- Jeff in Tacoma
Fishing floating salmon eggs?
Tuesday, March 30th, 2010Fishing floating salmon eggs? I’ll be fishing in a river and I bought fake salmon eggs that are orange with glitter on them. I have zero experience on how to bait them up. What weights do I use? Do I need a bobber? I just moved to Washington so I have no idea how to fish here. Please help me out. Thanks

The moon affect fishing for salmon in a river?
Thursday, August 13th, 2009I’m fishing in Washington on the West Coast in the (nisqually river) to be exact. I was wondering how the tides affect fishing? What tides I need to fish. Why to fish these tides? Basically I need to learn the low down on these factors or if they even matter. I need as much detail as possible to understand this. I am also fishing for Chinooks and cohos (kings and silvers) if that maters. Just want to get the best tips possible if you could please.

Thursday, June 4th, 2009Does anyone know a good reputable outfit that I should look into? I am looking for something that is reasonably price for a week of stay for my wife, a 7 yrs old, and I including room, meals and 5 days of chartered fishing trips. I have seen prices ranging from $800 to $3000. I prefer to keep it between $1,200 to $1,500 max per person double occupancy.
