Ok so I’ve been fishing off a dock with with bushy lining on the edge of the shore where I’ve seen plenty of huge Black drum and Red Drum going by but none of the methods I’ve tried have worked so far to catch them. There are oyster beds in the area which we’ve seen them eat but they won’t even acknowledge it when we cast out oysters, fiddler crabs, or finger mullet. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Using sinkers gets our bait wrapped the oysters and leads to a lot of lost baits. Is there a problem with seeing the fish we’re trying to catch. Maybe our baits are too obvious? any suggestions?
