Hello all and new to Cupidfish. I am going down to Galveston for Turkey day and wondering if I should bring the rods and gear for some winter surf fishing? Is worth the time and effort to pack up all the gear and head down?
I am ready and excited to do a bit of Snook fishing and wanted to ask a few questions.
Question one: Would you use, live bait or artificial? If artificial, which should I pick: MirroLure, Berkeley Gulp, spoons, plugs, Shrimp, etc.
Question two: I don’t think I have a regular leader, just wire. If I use wire will it make the outcome of catching a Snook greater, lease or the same?
Question Three: When is the best time to get after them snook?
